Our services include preliminary and final costing, design, detailing, fabrication, painting, delivery and erection.
We have an in house design team who can provide a full design and build service and are always willing to assist in developing your project. We always endeavour to achieve the most cost effective solution without compromising aesthetics.
All design is carried out to BS5950 and full use is made of the latest CAD software, including CSC Fastrak and CADS 2D & 3D analysis and design software.
Project co-ordination and fabrication detailing is carried out in our own drawing office with our structural engineers readily on hand to assist in the smooth running of your project. 3D modelling and detailing is carried out using CADS Advance Steel which is Autocad based and allows direct input of architects and engineers drawings. This can also link to several 3D design software packages allowing direct input of engineers design models.
All our work is carried out in accordance with ‘The National Structural Steelwork Specification for Building Construction’ 5th Edition.
Our works facilities can handle up to 25 metres in length with a maximum lift of 10 tonnes. The full range of BSC sections can be processed. We have CNC drilling available complimented with mobile drilling and punching facilities when required. Welding is mainly MIG although MMA is also available. Visual weld inspection is carried out in house and NDT testing is carried out on a regular basis using an Independent Specialist. All our welders are qualified to the latest BS and EN standards.
After fabrication is complete shot blasting is carried out, immediately followed by the application of the selected paint system, ensuring the blasted steel is only exposed for the minimum period of time. This is carried out in our own paint shop where a range of different paint systems can be applied. A hot dipped galvanised finish can also be arranged if required.

This is fully co-ordinated by our erection department to ensure projects are completed in accordance with required programmes. All site personnel have the latest CPCS IPAF plant and equipment handling certification, and all site supervisors have SSSTS certification.
